I have been investing in property for more than ten years, four of them focused on the Spanish market, where I hold my own portfolio across different regions. I don't advise from theory: I manage my own portfolio from abroad
I live outside Spain and I do exactly what I am going to explain to you. I know the real obstacles of investing at a distance because I ran into them myself first: the mortgage that stalls, the renovation that spirals out of control, the letter that never arrives.
I am also an electrical engineer, so when we discuss a renovation I do not give you an impression: I give you an assessment with technical judgement on what is worth doing, what is a structural problem and what budget is reasonable.
